Black Bean Avocado Brownies


Allergens: eggs, nuts


  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 can Black Beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 1/2 large ripe avocado
  • 1/3 cup coconut butter (or oil)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1.5 cup dark chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Blend all wet ingredients in a blender or food processor
  3. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl (except chocolate chips)
  4. Pour wet ingredients into the large bowl and combine with the dry ingredients and mix well
  5. Fold in chocolate chips
  6. Line an 8X11 baking pan with foil and coat with non-stick spray or oil
  7. Pour batter into pan and bake for 25-30 min or until a toothpick comes out clean!

It says black bean avocado but I don’t see avocado on the ingredient list.

Hi Wren! It’s listed under black beans! It’s 1/2 large ripe avocado.
