Avocado Truffles


Allergens: dairy (unless using dairy free chocolate chips)


  • 1 medium avocado mashed very well
  • 12 oz bag of dark chocolate chips (or regular)
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder


  1. In a microwave safe bowl melt a little over half the bag of chocolate chips in the microwave. Do this in 10 second intervals stirring between each interval
  2. Once melted, mix the mashed avocado and melted chocolate together
  3. Use a hard object to chop up the other half of the chocolate chips into little chunks and add to the mixture of melted chocolate and avocado ( this adds crunch!)
  4. Refrigerate mixture for an hour and then spoon out chunks and roll into balls
  5. Roll the truffles in cocoa powder, shredded coconut, sea salt, chopped nuts, or nothing at all!
